The biggest differences
NobelActive has an expanding tapered body, a double-lead thread and reverse cutting blades that allow the implant to be redirected during placement. NobelParallel is parallel from platform to just above the apex, with threads running the full length and a tapered tip that Nobel Biocare describes as supporting bi-cortical anchorage. One is designed to create its own stability by compressing the site; the other is designed to be predictable in a site that already has enough bone.

clinician is equipped and experienced to place and to service years from now.
