Coverage, including what is missing
A record is published only once its key facts are traceable to a primary source. Records that fall short stay in the database, are marked noindex, and are not exported. We report the withheld count rather than quietly shipping the smaller number — 33 records are currently held back.

How our data is structured
Every material fact is stored as a claim carrying its own provenance, rather than as a bare value. Six kinds exist — verified fact, manufacturer claim, clinical evidence claim, derived fact, editorial interpretation, and unknown — and each carries its sources, a confidence level and the date it was last verified. An unknown carries a reason from a fixed list.
This matters if you are citing us: a specification labelled as a manufacturer claim is the maker's statement about its own product, not an independently verified measurement, and the two should not be reported the same way. Our methodology page defines each label.
Reuse
Factual reference data on this site — entity names, relationships, and the specifications we have verified, together with their sources — may be reused under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to Dental Implants Guide and a link back.
Our editorial prose is not covered by that licence, and neither is anything belonging to a manufacturer. We store facts, not copies of manufacturer catalogues, and we would ask you to do the same.
Corrections
If you find an error in the data, tell us. We verify corrections before applying them, and we would rather hear about a mistake from a researcher than have it propagate through someone else's dataset.
